“Estēe Lauder’s Double Wear Makeup delivers flawless, 15-hour staying power, and it is natural-looking for carefree coverage. A lightweight, oil-free, and build able formula, it doesn’t change color, leaving your makeup looking as fresh as when you first applied it.”
If you are new to the blog you may not know my skin story. I’ll try and sum it up for you. Acne since the age of 13, and over a decade later… still have acne! My acne is hormonal and cystic so it is painful and the bumps are hard to cover and take forever and a day to heal. That being said I usually wear a full coverage foundation to help in the coverage of the bumps and redness. Also my skin is quite oily and I usually go for a oil controlling/matte foundation. But if you are a regular full coverage/matte foundation wearer you know that they tend to be heaver and make your face look flat.
I’m usually sucked into buying beauty products from watching my YouTube Subscriptions and it seemed like everyone was talking about the Double Wear Foundation last year. I think I bought my first bottle in January or February of this year. It was love at first application! For me the first application or coat is medium coverage with a beauty blender or Sigma F80. And on some days that is a good amount of coverage for me if my face is being nice to me 🙂
If you need more coverage this is really easy to build up and still look natural. It also wears well through out the day. I do tend to get oily but a simple touch up with blotting sheets and powder (which is normal for me with any foundation) and I’m good to go. I wear Ecru 1N2 which is described as a Pale Ivory Beige with Neutral Undertones.
Hey there, I think your site might be having browser compatibility issues.
When I look at your blog site in Opera, it looks fine but
when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, excellent blog!
Highly descriptive article, I loved that bit. Will there be a part 2?
Saved as a favorite, I love your website!
Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this blog.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and visual appearance.
I must say you have done a great job with this. Also, the blog loads super fast for me on Chrome.
Excellent Blog!
