Looks like ordinary eyeshadows right? Nope guess again these are amazing and better yet they change color!!  I’m all in 😉

Prism–

Unexpected on inner third of eye lid and Glamorous on outer third with Sigma E20   Cocoa Bear blended in crease with Sigma E35; Corrupt used as liner on upper lid using Sigma E15;  Glamorous and Unexpected mixed and used together on lower lash line with a clean E15; Filled in brows with the e.l.f. Studio Eyebrow Kit in Light. Two coats of L’ORÉAL Extra Volume Collagen Mascara in Black on top lashes and one coat on bottom lashes.  ** All Shadows used can be bought individually or in the Makeup Geek Starter Kit and Z-Palette Bundle **

Used Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer  and light contour; applied with Sigma F35  and blended out with e.l.f. Studio Powder Brush.  Elizabeth Mott “Tints and Sass” used as blush, blended with fingers (review here)  On the lips is  Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stain in Miami Fever (review here)

Applied Drama Queen all over eyelid using Sigma E20;  Unexpected  blended in crease with Sigma E35;  Shimma Shimma was layered over the Drama Queen across the eyelid.  Drama Queen and Unexpected used as liner on upper lid and on lower lash line using Sigma E15;  Applied two coats of Mally Beauty Volumizing Mascara (review) to upper lashes and one coat to lower lashes.  ** All Shadows used can be bought individually or in the Makeup Geek Starter Kit and Z-Palette Bundle **

Studio Powder Brush.  Used e.l.f Studio Blush Brush to apply Coastal Scents Forever Blush in Elegant.  On the lips is e.l.f.  Matte Lip Color in Tea Rose

Used Tarte Hotel Heiress (this seems to be discontinued as I can’t find it! 😦 ) as bronzer and light contour; applied with Sigma F35  and blended out with e.l.f. Studio Powder Brush.  Tarte Cheek Stain in Flush as blush and blended with fingers.  On the lips is Avon Ultra Color Lip Crayon in Carefree Coral

Makeup Geek Shadows

Hi, my name is Lara and I have an addiction to makeup…. I think I may need an accountability group… if you are like me and are an avid YouTube beauty watcher and blog reader you have more than likely heard of Makeup Geek.  Makeup Geek is the amazing Marlena who not only creates content on YouTube but has her own line of makeup.  I say I was coerced into buying some products by Makeup Geek in an effort to explain my bank statement, but alas I do have a free will.   But I can say that this is one purchase that I do not regret.  And I see in my future more purchases…

Makeup Geek is best known for their eye shadows and pigments. And boy oh boy do they deserve the praise.  The shadows are smooth and creamy and magically have staying power, amazing pigmentation and blend-ability beyond belief.  And you guys know I don’t say these kinds of things unless they are true.  In fact I may have more negative reviews on this blog then positive so when I love something you know it is true.

 

If you only get one thing from Makeup Geek get the 9 Shadow Starter Kit.
