I’ve seen this at my local drugstores and always wondered if it really worked.  e.l.f. recently had an online sale (FYI they have sales all the time) and I decided that for three bucks I should give this a whirl.  And… now I wonder why it took me so long to try this.  I’ve been using it every night before bed followed by a lip balm and my lips are in the best condition I think they’ve ever been.  For three dollars give this a try its awesome!!

e.l.f. says ::: Gently exfoliate lips to remove dry, chapped skin with our Lip Exfoliator! A sweet sugar and smoothing sensation, infused with Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Avocado, Grape and Jojoba Oils to nourish and protect. This Lip Exfoliator treats and smoothes lips for a conditioned and revitalized feel.

Products I’ve Hit Pan On— e.l.f. Studio Tone Correcting Powder in Cool

I bought this powder at Target about 6 months ago and I used it a few times and didn’t think it was anything special so it was put in the back of the drawer.  For whatever reason about a month ago I pulled it out and used it and asked myself why I ever shoved it in the back of the drawer!  This is a great powder for mattifying and I honestly do think that it does help slightly with color correcting.  After checking the e.l.f. website I realize that there are three different types of this powder.  There is a ‘cool toned powder’ (which is what I have), a ‘warm toned powder’ and a ‘shimmer powder’.

This is what e.l.f. has to say about their powder…

Create a balanced and radiant complexion that is beautiful and healthy. The lightweight formula evens out skin tone and absorbs excess oil, and sheer formula brightens, mattes and neutralizes the skin. The colors are meant to be blended together as the Blue neutralizes orange, the Green neutralizes red, the Pink neutralizes grey and the Yellow brightens and neutralizes red.

As you hit pan on this product it does become difficult to use as it starts to crumple.  I think I will pry the rest of this out of the compact, put it in a old powder foundation container and crush it up to use as a loose powder.  I will be repurchasing this product in the future, but first I want to use up at least one more powder in my collection.
