The newest palette to the Too Faced collection is a companion to the Chocolate Bar palette that came out last year. I say companion because it is different from the original Chocolate Bar palette and I feel like if you have both there isn’t much overlap. This palette is advertised as a warmer version of the original. First off, I thought the original was warm to begin with and looking at the semi sweet head on I didn’t think that it was a warmer color palette per say. But when put side by side I can see that it is warmer than the original but I won’t say that the original is cool toned it is definitely still a warm toned palette.
I really like that the Semi Sweet palette has the names written on the packaging unlike the flimsy plastic insert that came with the original. Also this palette is thinner and the mirror portion of the palette is hinged so that it will stay up when open which is helpful.
