So strange but I had issues with both Ipsy and Birchbox this month. If you remember I was missing a sample from my Ipsy and the box I received from Birchbox is totally different from what they show online. That is not a problem as I don’t have issues with what I received its just weird that both of my subscriptions were messed up this month!
Davines Oi Oil: Lightweight, antioxidant-rick serum that tames frizz, ups shine and prevents breakage.
Lara Says: Because Birchbox is so awesome they also included samples of Oi Shampoo and Conditioner (which don’t count as my samples) Smells heavenly, I’ll let you know what I think! And this is a big sample size great job so far Birchbox… 🙂
Dr. Jart+ BB Black Label Detox: The Korean brand’s tinted cream brightens, blocks UV rays and calms blemish-prone skin.
Lara Says: I didn’t detect any smell and as you can see on my hand the cream blended in perfectly.
Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser Starter Kit: UK favorite that uses a two-step ritual to purify and exfoliate.
Lara Says: I have received this in another birchbox and I still haven’t tried it! Bad Beauty Blogger… I for sure will be giving this a try and this is also a generous sample size.
Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm in Honey Nectar: Dual-purpose lip balm that hydrates with shea butter while giving lips a pretty wash of color.
Lara Says: I have never used any lip products from Pixi so I’m looking forward to giving this a try. I put it on my lips and they feel very moisturized.
Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream: This all-over hydrator heals and softens everything from rough heels to chapped lips.
Lara Says: This smells strongly of Camphor which honestly I don’t mind but some may find it offensive. My lips are in constant need of moisturizing so I will put this to work.

Ok so if you are not on board with Birchbox what are you waiting for?! One of the reasons I keep coming back to Birchbox is their points system where you use your points to buy products in the Shop. You can get points a few different ways: One is by referring people (50 points), buying products in the shop (1 point for every $1 spent), and by reviewing the products you received in your box (10 points for each review). And… 100 points=$10. So with a little math you can see that if you review all your products every month, you will get, on average, $5 in points a month. I like to look at that as getting my box for half price!
