I know I say this every month, but seriously were has the year gone?!  I feel like I was just gathering my August favorites and now September has come and gone and we are in October.  

 

Dove Gofresh Body Wash in Blue Fig and Orange Blossom retails for $5.97 at Walmart

You can’t go wrong with Dove Body wash and this scent is intoxicating.  It’s a nice summer scent and very moisturizing.  Get ready for a trip to an exotic island in your shower!

 

Chic In Black Eau De Parfum from AVON retails for $?? 

 I have had this perfume for several years and when I tried to find it on AVON’s website it seems to be discontinued! Or maybe it’s just seasonal, hopefully it’s the latter.   Like I said I’ve had it for a while and just recently rediscovered it.  This is going to sound really weird but I feel like this is my ‘Business Woman’ scent.  Yes that sounds as weird as I thought it would…I am not sure why but the scent to me is very feminine but still has a bit of a woodsy scent that makes me feel boardroom ready.  And yes it still sounds weird but I don’t care!  A classic mingling of sweet fruits, fragrant flowers and rich woods if you can find it grab a bottle.

Lasting Finish Lipstick-Kate Moss Collection for Rimmel in 109  retails for $4.97 at Walmart

 This lipstick has pretty good staying power and I love the shade, in the tube it looked like a orangey- coral.  This is a matte lipstick so be sure to exfoliate to get rid of any dry bits and put on a moisturizing balm if your lips tend to get dry like mine.

 

 

 

 

Essie ‘For the Twill of It’$7.79 at Target

 I love Essie nail polish, its long wearing and doesn’t look streaky.  But the price point is a bit much for colors that are easy to find and dupe.  But every once in a while Essie has a color I have never seen and I don’t have a problem shelling out a few extra bucks.  This color is multi-dimensional and I have not been able to find anything that is even close. The color is described as a rich medium brown with reflective green shimmer. Just in time for fall and I LOVE IT!!!

AVON Kohl Eye Liner in Deep Violet Retails for $7.00  

This is on my miss list.  I really wanted to like it but I found the pencil too hard.  Now it’s not too hard that I won’t use it but it is not one I will reach for consistently.  I feel like I have to drag it, and don’t get me started on the smudger.  It is so hard and I feel like I have to work way too hard to get the liner to smudge. And when I do get it to smudge it just wipes away the eyeliner.  There seems to be no middle ground, you have to press very hard to smudge and then when you do it rubs into your skin!
